About Us
We founded Ginnungagap Games in 2026 to continue development of a final year university project, Death Undone, so follow us as we slowly chug through an ambitious project, and take several detours along the way.
Outside of the ultimate goal of releasing Death Undone in a complete state, we really just want to make games that we ourselves want to play, and if other people want to play them too, then we'd consider that a success.

Will
Ahoy there! I'm Will, founder of Ginnungagap Games. I was born and raised here in Yorkshire, and like any proud Yorkshireman, I refuse to ever leave (Apart from trips, they're fine, though I'll be yearning for the moors)
I was fortunate enough to grow up playing video games, starting with the Sega Master System, and the Amstrad CPC, before getting the glorious PS1 and a PC running Windows 95, both of which really sparked an interest in making games.
After a brief stint working in the hell that is IT Support, I returned to education to study Game Design at college, after that though I spent a lot of time as a carer instead of following through with Game Design, that was until 2022, when I bit the bullet and went to University to study Game Design again.
Having finally graduated in 2026, I decided to focus my efforts on founding my own studio, giving me more time to spend with my child, and to work on projects I'm passionate about.
Some of my Favourite Games: Final Fantasy VII (PS1), Zelda: Link's Awakening, Warcraft 2, Alundra, Chrono Trigger, Timesplitters 2, Gears of War, and Dark Souls 2
Owen
Ayup, I'm Owen, I also spawned in Yorkshire and joined Ginnungagap Games in 2026 as a level designer/environment artist, whilst also helping out with the narrative of our games.
I've played video games all my life and my passion for them has never dissipated. I've always had an interest in level design and admired the way levels are created to influence the player's decision making whilst ensuring the player doesn't lose interest and has fun. Creating intricate and diverse levels in games each with unique themes, aesthetics, lore and varied encounters whilst ensuring the levels flow seamlessly between segments, without losing momentum, I find to be very fulfilling and enjoyable.
I have been in full time education for a large portion of my life and went to college to study IT. Which, after finishing the course, allowed me to pursue a degree in games design at university. After just recently graduating, I am now open for full time work, but will still dedicate my time to Ginnungagap games to ensure that the levels I created in our games are exciting, complex and are completely unique to our style, ensuring that it coalesces with the games themes and mechanics.
Some of my Favourite Games: Bloodborne, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham City, Super Mario Galaxy, Dishonoured 2 and Lies of P
